Eye Exams

Every patient receives a comprehensive visual analysis. At Vision One regular eye exams are important, so that any eye problems can be detected and treated early. We are dedicated to using the most up-to-date technology available to determine your vision needs, to ensure your comfort and to put you at ease.

We are in the business of eye care and understand that vision is one of the most important senses and that each person's visual system is unique. Each patient is treated as an individual and his or her personal needs are addressed at Vision One.

Treatment of Eye Infections/Injuries

Call us for an appointment if you believe that your eye is injured or infected. Some of the symptoms include: pain, blurred vision or blood in the eye. You can protect your eyes by wearing safety glasses/goggles/face masks when using power tools, chemicals and when playing sports like paintball and racquetball. And remember to wear your sunglasses to protect your eyes from damaging UV rays.

Treatment of Eye Diseases

Here at Vision One Optometry, we are committed to early detection and the continued management of common eye diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts, retinal disease, diabetic eye disease and other ocular diseases. Dr. Nicholson is one of a few California optometrists certified to treat glaucoma, an optic nerve disease. Dr. Nicholson is also fully licenced to prescribe both topical and oral medications for treatment of eye diseases, eye infections and other disorders such as chronic dry eye or allergies.

Glasses/Eyeglass Lenses

We offer in-style designer and brand name frames, the latest lenses/coatings and sunglasses. Some of our brands include: Calvin Klein, Donna Karen, Pro Design, LA Eyeworks, BeBe, Persol, Vera Wang, Chloe, Swiss Flex, Tommy Bahama, Gunnar and Tom Davies a frame you can design yourself with custom sizes, shapes and colors. Our in-house lab can provide one-hour service on most eyeglasses.

Contact Lenses

We offer a wide range of contacts, including disposables, colored lenses, astigmatism correction lenses, progressive lenses, colored lenses and special effects lenses. Some of our brands include: Acuvue 2 (Regular and Colored), Frequency 55 (Coopervision) and Ciba.

Vision One is located in a professional building that includes an Ophthalmologist, a Pediatric Ophthalmologist and a Retinal Specialist.
